Multi-sensory surfaces for a natural design
The collection interprets a Brazilian quartzite, a non-flaking metamorphic rock formed over millions of years through the fusion of incandescent magma and sandstone. Due to the pressure and the intense heat, the grains of sand melt and crystallise, combining with silica cement to create a very strong and hard rock. MERIDIEN comes in three colours with different surface finishes for indoor and outdoor use, the thin, changing grains crossing the surface lose their dominant blue to create a more shaded contrast between the surface graphics and the background texture, harmoniously blending to produce a pioneering, sophisticated interior design.
